Junior Achievement (JA) Romania, together with a consortium of six international partners, announces the launch of the YSBE Net: Youth Social Business Entrepreneurship Network European project, an initiative co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program.
The project, implemented over a period of 24 months as part of the ERASMUS-YOUTH-2025 -CB-WB action, officially started on November 1, 2025, and is being carried out in partnership with JA Cyprus, JA Bulgaria, JA Macedonia, JA Albania, JA Montenegro, and Merci Charity Boutique, together with two partner countries that will participate in the transnational activities of the project – JA Turkey and JA Serbia.
YSBE Net's main objective is to strengthen social entrepreneurship education for young people and create a sustainable ecosystem that supports youth organizations in developing their capacity to implement programs with social impact. The project addresses the growing needs in the region for entrepreneurial skills training and supports the new generation of creative young people involved in transforming communities.
International launch event – February 2026, Cyprus
In February 2026, the consortium will organize in Cyprus the project's official international launch event. The partners will come together to present the project's objectives, structure, and activities, as well as to discuss ways of collaborating and expanding the educational impact in the region. The participation of JA Turkey and JA Serbia will contribute to diversifying the exchange of good practices and strengthening transnational collaboration.
YSBE Net aims to transform youth organizations into centers of excellence in entrepreneurial education by developing sustainable and innovative programs. Through its activities, the project will stimulate youth involvement in social innovation processes, strengthen regional collaboration, and contribute to sustainable economic and social development in Southeast Europe.
