Train the Teachers Romania, September 23-24, 2026
Junior Achievement organizations in Romania, Cyprus, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, and Serbia started off the new school year with a series of training sessions on the Social Entrepreneurship module for 150 teachers from these countries. The activities are part of the YSBE Net (Youth Social Business & Entrepreneurship Network) project, an Erasmus+ initiative that supports education in social entrepreneurship and strengthens the capacity of youth-working organizations.
In Romania, during the two intensive days of online training, participants explored the tools, methodologies, and practical activities that will help them contribute to developing the skills and mindset needed by young people in the region and to nurturing future social entrepreneurs.
These sessions provided valuable opportunities to explore how entrepreneurship education can contribute to social impact, community development, and youth engagement, while also encouraging the exchange of ideas, approaches, and best practices.
By strengthening international cooperation and knowledge sharing, the YSBE Net project aims to support organizations that work with young people and to contribute to the development of social entrepreneurship skills and initiatives at the European level.
In the coming period, a series of educational activities will be implemented both in Romania and in partner countries, aimed at high school students interested in social entrepreneurship. These activities will include a social entrepreneurship course for high school students, as well as the opportunity to participate in an online hackathon focused on identifying innovative solutions to real social challenges, and international fairs in Bulgaria and Cyprus, where young people will be able to present their ideas, exchange experiences, and interact with other participants and experts from various countries.
